Did you know that sheep not only produce warm wool to help poor families survive harsh winters in countries like Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine…but also provide nutritious milk? Not all sheep are heavy milk producers but they can provide milk for one family and enough to make some cheese.
Villagers in countries where winters are less severe supplement their income by selling the offspring or making cheese or crafts from wool to sell at local markets.
