BECOME A DOHI REPRESENTATIVE
Many Christians living in “free world” countries know little about the Suffering Church despite the fact that more than 100,000,000 Christians live in countries where Christian persecution occurs. Every year we are seeing this number grow.
Our brothers and sisters suffering for their faith in Jesus Christ need our help. As a DOHI Representative you can be a vital part in the life and survival of an imprisoned Christian and their family. Whatever commitment you are able to give, whether you can give just a little of your time or be more involved, you will become an invaluable part of the DOHI team.
So many Christians suffer tremendous persecution; imprisonment, torture and sometimes being killed for refusing to deny Christ. They have been silenced and cannot speak up for themselves.
You can speak for them. You can be their voice.
Tell Their Stories
Tell the story of a persecuted believer who has been silenced.
Share their story with family and friends, your church or missions department, Sunday school class. Bring their needs forward in men’s/women’s fellowships or small group.
Be a Prayer Warrior
Start a prayer group. You can start with just two people! Jesus said, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” Matthew 18:19-20. Encourage others to join you. Get together once a week or once a month with the specific goal to pray for a specific persecuted Christian(s).
Pray in faith and watch what God can do!
Pray for their health and endurance through hardships
Pray for their spiritual strength
Pray for the prisoner’s release from prison.
Pray for the prisoner’s family that God will provide for their needs and help them through difficulties.
Encourage prayer members to write words of encouragement, letters or cards to a prisoner (see Sample Letters here)

Mobilize Christians in the Free World
Advocate on behalf of a suffering believer by contacting government officials to take appropriate actions. You can get the names and contact information for the people who represent you on the federal, state, and local levels here: Find and contact elected officials | USAGov
Start a petition on behalf of a prisoner.
Spread the Word About DOHI
Share your testimony and passion for the Suffering Church in group meetings.
Distribute copies of Tortured for His Faith by Dr. Haralan Popov
Distribute copies of DOHI Newsletters
Arrange a meeting for Paul to speak in your church or small group
Set up a DOHI information booth at Christian events in your community
Show our teaser film “American Spy” (based on Tortured For His Faith) in your church or small group and give out a copy of the book to those who attend
Be Creative
Calling all creatives
Test your creativity! You can fundraise for persecuted Christians and have fun with your family and friends too! All proceeds will go to DOHI Ministries towards persecuted Christians. Or you can choose the funds to go for a specific DOHI project or need.
Hold fun-packed fundraising events.
Hold a church or group garage sale event.
Have a bake sale or bake sale competition. Who doesn’t love deserts!
Think outside the box. Tell us how creative you have been!
