Christian television is proving to be one of the most effective tools in leading devoted Muslims to Christ. The Gospel is penetrating even the most closed regions through high-quality, faith-filled programming that brings truth, hope, and love directly into Afghan homes.

Because of the incredible response received from Afghan viewers,  ICENT.TV has launched a weekly satellite program called “Salam Afghanistan” (“Hello Afghanistan”), hosted by a passionate Afghan pastor now living in Germany. This broadcast doesn’t just speak to those within Afghanistan—it’s also reaching Afghan communities in the global diaspora, offering a spiritual lifeline to those hungry for hope.

But most importantly, “Salam Afghanistan” is bringing bold encouragement to the underground Church inside Afghanistan, where believers live under constant threat for their faith. In a land where open worship is dangerous, these broadcasts are a vital source of strength, teaching, and connection to the Body of Christ.

ICNET.TV’s current Farsi-language programming has already blessed many Afghan viewers. Now, by expanding into Dari—one of Afghanistan’s official languages—we can more effectively reach the 38 million people living within the country.

We also have a growing burden to minister to Afghan refugees, who have fled war and oppression but are still in desperate need of the peace only Christ can give.
