Memoirs of a Bible Smuggler

A true story – Jeana, a young housewife from Piney Woods Texas wanted to be a Bible smuggler. Every evening she prayed God would open a door. Not long after, DOHI’s President, Paul Popov, contacted her husband Jeff, a building contractor, to remodel the mission’s secret Bible storage base in Austria. That summer of 1980, the couple smuggled Bibles into Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. Soon they headed the Bible smuggling operation. The success of their covert operations progressed into the more difficult to penetrate countries of Romania, Bulgaria and the U.S.S.R.
